A coalition of faculty organizations (SAVE and BFA), staff unions, and student organizations are planning this event. Event speakers will likely include: Stanton Glantz, from the Council of UC Faculty Associations; Phil Ting, SF City Assessor and Cal Alumni Board member; Alberto Torrico, Assembly Majority Leader and author of AB656; Ananya Roy, UCB Prof of City and Regional Planning, and member of SAVE the University; Jayna Brown, UCR professor of African American Studies; and Ariel Boone, ASUC Senator, CalServe.
