On February 28th, CUCFA delivered the following letter to Senator Yee:
Dear Senator Yee,
The Council of University of California Faculty Associations is pleased to support SB 190. With respect to the University of California, this measure will insure that executive compensation proposals involving the principal officers of the regents and the most senior officers of the university will be discussed in open sessions of the appropriate regents’ committee or committees, with the final discussion and action thereon occurring in an open session of the full board. In our view, this legislation is long overdue.
